2.6 MWp Commercial Project Installed on the Rooftop of Canadian Solar Manufacturing.
This project was developed by our joint company - Gaochuangte New Energy Co. Ltd., and demonstrates general contracting ability, concrete commitment to equipment procurement, construction and project management. It also profits from the 2011 Jiangsu Province rooftop solar power station 2.4 Yuan / kWh feed-in tariff.
The 2.6 MWp rooftop installation was constructed with 10530 Canadian Solar CS6P-P PV modules at the Canadian Solar Module Manufacturing facility in Xinzhuangzheng, Changshu, China. It will generate enough clean energy (about 2977 MWh) to offset approximately 2763 metric tons of carbon dioxide annually. The installation is also grid-connected, so any excess energy can be fed back into the National Electricity Grid for use where it is needed.

We will combine the experience we gained from this and overseas projects to actively promote the construction of photovoltaic power plants in China.”
