As a key member of the Accounting Team, the Cost Accountant is responsible for assisting and administrating all aspects related to managing inventory costing and analysis. The Cost Accountant must perform a range of related duties as needed to support senior management and ensure profitable business operations.

Responsibilities:

 

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

·         Prepare, analyze product costing, prepare monthly inventory and costing reports.

·         Assist with coordination of physical inventory counts.

·         Prepare, analyze financial statements with supporting schedules.

·         Support FP&A manager on budgeting and forecasting.

·         Prepare ad-hoc analysis per management need.

·         Assist with month-end, year-end and audit.

·         Other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

 

·         3+ years’ experience in accounting role.

·         Costing experience preferred.

·         Working towards an accounting designation an asset.

·         Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.

·         Strong tactical and analytical skills.

·         Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.

·         Excellent time management skills.

·         Attention to detail in all areas of work.

Description

 

The Power System Engineer will design of microgrid power systems that include renewable energy sources, energy storage, demand response and related protection and control systems. The Power Systems Engineer will use various software and hardware based simulation tools.

Responsibilities

 

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

      Initiate, generate and maintain technical documents related to the projects of power systems  including drawings, specifications and project proposals

      Perform power system studies in steady state such as short-circuit, load flow, protection coordination and arc flash studies

      Analyze system transient stability and reliability for power systems

      Design the microgrid relay/ protection system and coordinate for different configurations

      Setup power system test procedures and write reports

      Work with control/communication engineer to setup/design SCADA system

      Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards

      Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures

      Complete all other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

·           An Engineering’s  Degree on Electrical/Electric Power Systems

·           Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience on power system

·           Must have knowledge of and proficiency in the use of power system simulation and optimal design software such as PSCAD or PowerFactory and HOMER

·           PC Proficiency in AutoCAD for power system drawing

·           Knowledge in renewable energy system, energy storage, islanded grid and diesel gensets is preferable

·           P.Eng qualification is preferable

·           Strong written and oral communication skills

·           Ability  to work with internal and external customer team members

The Financial Accountant, reporting to Special Project Manager, is responsible for all aspects of accounts receivable, inventory costing and analysis. In addition, this role will provide direct support for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, while assisting the department with various duties, including financial reporting

Responsibilities:

·         Manage full circle of Accounts Receivable duties, including billing, revenue recognition and collection

·         Prepare, analyze inventory costing

·         Coordinate quarterly inventory count, investigate and analysis count variance   

·         Prepare monthly management reports as required, such as

o   Gross Profit Report

o   Operation Expense report

o   Consolidated P&L report for O&M entities

Qualifications and Experience:

·         4+ years’ experience in accounting role,

·         An accounting designation desired

·         Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization,

·         Strong tactical and analytical skills,

·         Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently,
