Guanghua Industrial Park, Changshu, China

A Canadian Solar investment, this 3.81 MWp project was constructed by Canadian Solar joint-venture company - Suzhou Gaochuangte New Energy.

This project saw 17440 Canadian Solar CS6P-P PV modules installed on 62 roofs, with a combined area of 72,590 square meters, in Guanghua industrial park. It will generate enough clean energy (about 4404 MWh) to offset approximately 4086 metric tons of carbon dioxide annually. The installation is also grid-connected, so any excess energy can be fed back into the National Electricity Grid for use where it is needed.

It is also worth mentioning that the project is a Golden Sun Demonstration Project, with total investment of 45.404 million Yuan. After obtaining the National Golden Sun subsidy funds, the internal financial investment return rate is 21.71%.

As one of Canadian Solar’s commercial PV projects, Guanghua emphasizes our unique position to provide customers with total turnkey solar solutions that reduce the complexities and costs of solar system installation. Our extensive experience with large-scale rooftop installations across the globe and our capabilities in obtaining the required permits provides optimized and cost-effective engineering, procurement and construction as well as operation & maintenance services.
