Quality of Canadian Solar Modules Results in Selection for 4.1 MW Plant.

Over 16,000 of Canadian Solar’s top-quality CS6P-P modules are now generating energy at a 4.1 MW solar power plant in Chaskovo, Bulgaria. The system was  set up by Lumen Energeticky Development s.r.o., an experienced installer with a strong portfolio of solar projects.

This particular project was developed for Saphire Sustainable Development Ltd., a clean energy solutions provider that identifies, develops, implements and operates projects designed to reduce emissions and cut energy costs. It is also worth mentioning that the project was realized in just three months and qualifies for favorable feed-in tariffs, which secures significant financial savings.

"As an installer, our reputation depends on the quality and reliability of the power plants we implement and operate. Canadian Solar is a proven, professional supplier and a leader when it comes to high quality products. Their products enable us to guarantee the reliability and performance for a system’s lifetime period" said Ing. Tomáš Novák, of Lumen Energeticky Development s.r.o.

Completed and put into operation in June 2012, it is estimated that the installation produced 5,515 kWh of electricity in its first year of operation.
